Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Optical Receptionist to join our team at Pearle Vision. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • First Point of Contact: Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, either in person or via phone conversation.
  • Appointment Coordination: Direct patients to sign in for their appointments or direct them to an optician to order or pick up eyewear.
  • Phone Inquiries: Coordinate phone inquiries and direct patients accordingly.
  • Patient Information: Gather patient information that is not currently in the electronic health records.
  • Order Management: Communicate with patients to update them about pending orders and direct them to an optician.
  • Financial Transactions: Enter all medical service charges in patient's ledger with accurate date and insurance information.
  • Contact Lens Sales: Take orders for contact lenses in-store and over the phone.
  • Payment Processing: Accept all types of payments, including cash, check, and credit cards.
  • Assistance and Support: Be observant at all times to offer assistance as needed and perform other duties as required.
