Environmental Scientist Lead

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Environmental Engineer or Scientist to join our team at Gradient. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting challenging technical work related to chemical fate and transport, while also contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

- Project management and coordination, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work products;
- Development of technical approaches and strategies to achieve project goals;
- Research and analysis of pollutant sources, environmental regulations, and chemical fate & transport;
- Quantitative data analysis and visualization to inform decision-making;

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related geosciences field (required);
- Advanced degree in environmental engineering or related geosciences field (preferred);
- At least 5 years (7+ preferred) of environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required);
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills (required);
- Ability to balance multiple projects with strict deadlines (required);
- Proven leadership skills (preferred);
- Prior experience related to site investigation and contaminant fate and transport (required);
- Prior experience with flow/transport modeling (preferred);
- Prior knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (preferred).

Benefits and Compensation:
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year;
