At Kansas Spine & Specialty Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Registration Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient registration process for our patients, while maintaining the highest level of patient service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect patient liabilities and negotiate point of service payments
* Verify insurance eligibility and authorization information
* Admit patients to the hospital and verify physician orders
* Greet patients, families, physicians, and staff in a courteous manner
* Document patient account notes and records accurately
* Answer incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate destination
Requirements:
* Minimum one year experience in healthcare billing, admissions, and reception duties
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
