About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect to join our team at Fidelity Information Services. As a Java Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality Java-based software systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and code comments.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends, and apply that knowledge to improve our software systems.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Java programming language, including hands-on coding experience and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
  • Advanced Java hands-on coding experience with applying Data-structures and Algorithms, Collections, File-Handling and Multi-Threading concepts of Java.
  • Hands-on experience with UI technologies like Angular/React/Vue or similar frameworks with excellent understanding of JavaScript.
  • Strong experience with SOA, Model Driven Design, Microservices architectures and Cloud Computing Architecture.
  • Strong experience with API development with SOAP and Restful services and related tools.
  • Strong experience with parsing and modelling XML, JSON and YAML with Java libraries.
  • Strong experience with understanding XSLTs, XSD and other data representation and configuration technologies.
  • Strong experience with SQL with hands-on using Oracle and MySQL databases and understanding of any Java ORM framework.
