Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Burlington, MA. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met and maintained across all production processes.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering and manufacturing principles, with experience in implementing and maintaining quality systems, conducting statistical analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You will design and implement quality assurance methods, systems, and inspection plans to ensure product precision, reliability, and compliance. Additionally, you will conduct cost-of-quality assessments, develop and maintain quality documentation, and lead audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Your expertise in lean manufacturing principles will enable you to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance products and production processes. You will also analyze and report quality performance data, recommending process or material changes as necessary.
Responsibilities- Design and implement quality assurance methods, systems, and inspection plans
- Conduct statistical analyses and cost-of-quality assessments
- Develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures
- Lead audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BS) with 2-4+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of inspection, quality assurance, and engineering techniques
- Experience in maintaining and improving quality systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949)
- Proficiency with business applications and specialized data analysis tools
- Ability to implement continuous improvement techniques and assess manufacturing functions
