Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Turning Point, Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and high-risk behaviors.

- A competitive salary of $18-$20 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus of $1,000-$1,500.

- Maintain a safe environment and ensure the Human Rights and Safety of individuals in residential settings licensed by the Department of Developmental Services or Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission.
- Assist and supervise individuals with daily living activities, including hygiene, household chores, cooking, shopping, and community activities.
- Follow menus and diets planned by program managers and assist individuals in making healthy nutritional choices.
- Transport individuals to medical appointments and other engagements as assigned.
- Complete documentation, including communication logs, shift notes, incident reports, and behavior plans.

- Prior experience working with behavioral individuals is preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
- The ability to stand and walk frequently during the day, engage in repeated stooping or bending, and drive a 4-6 passenger van.
