Overnight Support Specialist

The Overnight Support Specialist - Enhanced Care will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities during the overnight hours in Level 2 residential programs. This position requires providing daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living while managing within a home environment and in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with all activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene.
- Implement services according to DDS, CARF, and regulatory standards, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to DDS and regulatory requirements.
- Assist individuals during overnight shifts, promoting their safety and well-being.
- Perform household cleaning duties as assigned, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Administer medications according to MAP regulations, prioritizing patient safety.
- Maintain certification in CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, PABC, and MAP, ensuring expertise in emergency response and medical procedures.
- Transport individuals as needed, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Comply with Bridgewell's call-in procedures, maintaining open communication channels.
- Participate in other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree or DSP Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is desired; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
- Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience are necessary for transportation responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and web-based applications used by Bridgewell is expected.
