Job Overview:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 7 years dedicated to test automation.

Key Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in scripting languages including Java and Python.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and WitBe.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Certifications in software testing or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are advantageous.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust test automation frameworks and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid and reliable feedback on software quality.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to align test automation with project objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to QA engineers on best practices for test automation.
  • Analyze test outcomes, identify issues, and work with development teams to address defects.
  • Continuously enhance test automation processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and train QA team members on test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in test automation and recommend enhancements to existing frameworks.
