EAP On-Site Clinical Counselor/Substance Abuse Professional

As an EAP On-Site Clinical Counselor/Substance Abuse Professional, you'll play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our airline employees. Your expertise will help provide on-site consultation, counseling, and informational services, ensuring our team members receive the care they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial assessment and triage for mental/behavioral health services.
  • Offer short-term individual counseling for a variety of presenting issues, including mental, emotional, and substance abuse concerns.
  • Refer employees to appropriate treatment or higher levels of care based on clinical assessment.
  • Partner with managers, union representatives, and local points of contact to support employee well-being.
  • Conduct workshops, panel discussions, and training seminars on health enhancement topics.
  • Support company-related events, such as health fairs.
  • Provide on-site Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) services.
  • Offer Management Consultation (MC) to managers and other leadership.
  • Maintain current licensure and seek professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Clinical license must be current and unrestricted, with a master's degree in a behavioral health field.
  • 2+ years of experience in substance abuse treatment and assessment, with SAP certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training or certification, or willingness to become certified.
  • 3+ years of direct clinical experience in various settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working as an On-Site EAP Counselor at a large company or organization.
  • Familiarity with work-related issues and working with unions.
  • Expertise in workplace-related stress within a corporate environment.
  • Strong intercultural expertise, particularly in a corporate setting.

Education:

Master's degree in a behavioral health field.

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is $60,522.80 - $129,600.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
