We are looking for a committed Medical Technologist Generalist to become part of our esteemed Blood Bank and Core Laboratory team. In this role, you will be tasked with performing a wide range of diagnostic tests, ensuring the upkeep of laboratory equipment, and delivering vital support to our patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret patient diagnostic tests
  • Manage laboratory inventory and supplies efficiently
  • Offer technical support to laboratory clients
  • Utilize and operate various laboratory instruments
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Accurately document and process laboratory data

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related discipline
  • MT (ASCP) certification or an equivalent credential

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of pertinent laboratory experience
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems
  • Capability to operate both automated and manual laboratory equipment

Position Information:

  • Job Type/FTE: PRN (0.10)
  • Shift: Rotating Shifts - Required every other weekend on 3rd shift
  • Unit/Department: Blood Bank/Core Lab
  • CBA Code: Non-Union
