School Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary
Wyndy LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transportation schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Collaborate with school administrators to address student transportation needs and concerns
- Ensure compliance with state and district transportation policies and regulations
- Coordinate and supervise school bus drivers and monitors to ensure high-quality service
- Monitor fleet maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are roadworthy
- Resolve transportation-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Foster positive relationships with parents and community stakeholders through effective communication and customer service
- Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation to support operational efficiency and compliance
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for transportation services to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry best practices to improve transportation services and ensure compliance with changing regulations
Qualifications
- A love of working with children and a commitment to providing safe and efficient transportation services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school administrators
- Ability to follow directions and work independently to ensure efficient and effective service
