Responsibilities:
  • Develop Engaging Lesson Plans: Design and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards for Earth and Life Sciences, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote active learning.
  • Foster Inquiry-Based Learning: Utilize laboratory experiments, field trips, and hands-on activities to foster inquiry-based learning and encourage critical thinking skills as students explore topics such as ecology, geology, biology, and environmental science.
  • Integrate Technology: Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance student understanding and engagement, while assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments and providing timely feedback to support growth and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Content Knowledge: Strong content knowledge and enthusiasm for Earth and Life Sciences.
