We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Field Technician to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

As a Construction Field Technician, you will be responsible for observing and testing samples of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. You will also prepare field reports and assist with laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Prepare detailed reports of test results and observations
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekends
  • Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving history
  • Ability to pass background screen
