Join Our Team as a Child Abuse Pediatrician

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team at Nemours Children's Hospital - Delaware. As a key member of our Division of General Academic Pediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children and families affected by child maltreatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an attending physician for the Nemours CARE Program, a hospital-based multidisciplinary assessment program for suspected child maltreatment victims.
  • Provide subspecialty consultations for suspected maltreatment victims in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals across child welfare, law enforcement, criminal justice, and social work to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in teaching, mentorship, academic scholarship, education, clinical research, advocacy, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Child Abuse Pediatrics.
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted Delaware medical license.
