Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at MercyOne Northeast Iowa. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, providing patient care, and assisting radiologists with special procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for imaging procedures
- Collect patient history data and provide patient education
- Provide patient care in accordance with department policy
- Take radiographic exposures and perform multiple imaging procedures
- Assist radiologists with special procedures, including CT-guided biopsies and 3D scanning
- Perform trauma scanning and provide radiologist with pertinent information for interpretation
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and colleague health policies and procedures
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography
- ARRT or NMTCB registered, with valid IDPH permit to practice
- Mandatory Reporter and BLS certification
- Ability to work independently with speed and accuracy, and to use independent judgment to solve problems
