Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our team at Clatsop Care Health & Rehabilitation Center. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established procedures and menus.
  • Ensure the quality and quantity of food prepared meets our high standards.
  • Organize tasks to perform with accuracy, in a safe manner, and with concern for equipment and environment.
  • Inform Supervisor of equipment and dietary supply needs.
  • Participate in in-service and continuing education to remain current on requirements.
Requirements
  • Ability to learn and follow directions.
  • Ability to judge quality of food prepared and aesthetic presentation.
  • Capable and willing to decipher and follow guidelines provided for preparation and service of meals.
Work Environment

The work environment is usually moderate with occasional exposure to heat, steam, and noise.
