We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Manpower Engineering. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, and remodeling.
  • Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance, completing maintenance and repair records as required.
  • Review and estimate work orders, ordering necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.
  • Maintain an energy management program to optimize system efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  • Universal CFC certification preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
