Clinical Support Specialist Role Overview
The Arc of Rensselaer County is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Brunswick Center. This role is designed to provide support to nursing services at our day program, focusing on medication administration and management of health-related documentation.
As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will work closely with our Licensed Practical Nurse and report to our Director of Nursing. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining medical files for individuals within the program, ensuring accuracy of medication administration, and conducting routine compliance checks.
You will also play a key role in communicating health needs among relevant parties, including families, teams, and medical providers, regarding the individuals' nursing plan of care and health-related needs.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a human services or related field from an accredited college
- At least one year of experience in a related field
Benefits
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $17.41.
