Job Title: Behavioral Support Specialist

APluscare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement behavioral support plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and clinical team.
  • Provide training to Program Supervisors, Program Coordinators, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on implementing formal comprehensive behavior support plans.
  • Monitor and modify behavioral support plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between APluscare, clients, families, staff, and DDD/DHS staff to ensure continuum of care and support for clients.
  • Coordinate with IDT, clinical team, and other parties as needed to enhance the integrity of behavioral support programs.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field required.
  • Extremely strong organizational, writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and flexibility are essential in assuming significant responsibility.
  • Experience working in racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities working with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
