APluscare LLC is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral support services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement behavioral support plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and clinical team.
- Provide training to Program Supervisors, Program Coordinators, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on implementing formal comprehensive behavior support plans.
- Monitor and modify behavioral support plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between APluscare, clients, families, staff, and DDD/DHS staff to ensure continuum of care and support for clients.
- Coordinate with IDT, clinical team, and other parties as needed to enhance the integrity of behavioral support programs.
- Master's degree in Psychology or related field required.
- Extremely strong organizational, writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and flexibility are essential in assuming significant responsibility.
- Experience working in racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities working with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
