Job Title: Aircraft Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary:

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Opa Locka, FL. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our aircraft maintenance and inspection processes.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and Repair Station/Quality Control Manual
* Perform service inspections of aircraft or components in accordance with applicable parts of chapter 14 CFR (FARs) and the manufacturer's maintenance manual
* Assist other inspectors in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification
* Perform the Preliminary Inspection upon arrival of an aircraft at the facility prior to the commencement of maintenance or inspection
* Inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs, and alterations performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to ensure the corrective action was completed
* Inspect all flight control systems maintenance
* Inspect fuel panels, final floorboard installation, final nose cowl closing, final aft fuselage closing, and final circuit breaker panel installation and provide OK to Install
* Inspect engine installation and provide Installation OK
* Train, coach, and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification
* Provide data to customers as requested
* Adhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadership
* Perform conformity inspections of engineering documents to most current design per assigned aircraft
* Weigh aircraft using the pre-weight checklist
* Initiate RED's and RFE's as required
* Research aircraft drawings and technical data
* Update Maintenance Manuals with revisions as required

Qualifications:

* Typically have 5 years' aircraft maintenance experience
* Have 2 to 3 years' inspection experience - preferred
* Typically have 1 year aircraft maintenance experience with business jet aircraft - preferred
* Have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals
* Have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or appropriately rated Repairman Certificate
* Have basic knowledge of SAP
* Have working knowledge of business aircraft inspection programs, for example, final close out procedures, engine installations, and in-process inspections
* Have working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alteration as related to inspection buy-off
* Have working knowledge of Repair Station/Quality Control Manual
