Full-time EMTs are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $15,000, contingent upon meeting specific criteria. Our shifts are structured to provide ample opportunities for overtime, ensuring you are rewarded for your hard work.
Key Responsibilities:
As an EMT, you will:
- Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures to deliver high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing reassurance and information.
- Lead the emergency response team and manage the scene as necessary.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency calls.
- Collaborate professionally with other healthcare and public safety personnel.
Community Engagement:
Participate in community outreach programs to enhance our organization's image and foster strong relationships within the community.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A valid state EMT license.
- A valid state driver's license.
- A medical examiner's certificate.
- Current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-EMT.
- A clean driving record compliant with company standards.
- Successful completion of a physical agility test.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
