Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

Symbiosis, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care and transportation services to patients in need.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented EMT to provide emergency medical care and transportation services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency medical procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care and transportation services to patients in need.
  • Respond to emergency calls and assess patients' conditions.
  • Administer prescribed treatments and medications as needed.
  • Transport patients to medical facilities and provide ongoing care during transport.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatments.
Requirements:
  • California state EMT certification required.
  • American Heart Association or Red Cross Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required.
  • CA driver's license required and must have an excellent driving record.
  • Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
  • Ambulance Driver's Certificate (ADC) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of modern EMS principles, procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Reading, writing, comprehension, and basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Must maintain calm in stressful and chaotic situations.
