Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Hematology/Oncology Division at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in the ambulatory or inpatient settings, working closely with our medical staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Participate in the comprehensive care of patients in the ambulatory or inpatient settings
- Provide multi-disciplinary care coordination, treatment, education, monitoring, and communication with patients and referring physicians
- Manage chronic stable medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, and medical and surgical procedures
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including chemotherapy and oncology protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in hematology and oncology
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
- California licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Experience working in hematology and oncology, preferably in an academic or research setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
