We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Cardiac Cath team as a Charge Nurse. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, night shift position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a $25,000 sign-on bonus. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care and making critical decisions to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Leading and mentoring our nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Managing patient flow and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient and effective care delivery

Raleigh General Hospital is a 300-bed hospital located in Beckley, WV, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier. Our Post Cardiac Cath department is a 24-patient bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio, and we operate with a daily Float Charge RN and 1-2 PCA's per shift.
Qualifications and RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current state RN license
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- A minimum of 1 year nursing experience, with relief charge experience preferred
