Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity
Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Cardiac Cath team as a Charge Nurse. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team with expertise and compassion.
About the Role
This is a full-time, night shift position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a $25,000 sign-on bonus. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Post Cardiac Cath unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and education to patients and families
- Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Coordinate patient care and develop individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
- Current state RN licensure
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, with relief charge experience preferred
