The Revenue Cycle Coordinator plays a crucial role in maximizing financial returns and streamlining the daily functions of the revenue cycle.
Primary Duties:
- Addressing inquiries from both internal teams and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with multiple departments to resolve billing inquiries effectively.
- Providing essential support for revenue cycle activities.
- Managing payer-related issues and overseeing account transactions.
- Explaining billing practices and principles to clients.
- Engaging in the account management process throughout the revenue cycle.
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the revenue cycle database.
- Working collaboratively with the team to meet organizational objectives.
- Prioritizing accounts and conducting follow-ups on accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma is required.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in revenue cycle management.
- Familiarity with Revenue Cycle systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Fluency in English is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to perform office tasks and utilize fine motor skills.
- Visual and auditory capabilities necessary for job performance.
