Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team at IHOP Northeast. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage wait lists and prioritize seating to minimize wait times.
  • Process To-Go and Delivery Orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide menu recommendations and additional information to enhance the guest experience.
  • Upsell additional products and services to increase revenue.
  • Communicate order details to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a host or in a customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
