Home Instead is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Caregiver Recruiter. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and managing our caregiving workforce. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews for CAREGiver candidates
  • Maintain regular contact with our CAREGiver staff to ensure quality of care
  • Follow up on all applicant inquiries, schedules and conducts interviews
  • Enforce company policy and provide verbal coaching to employees for minor policy infractions or provides encouragement/incentives for a job well done
  • Assist in orientation and classroom training
  • Conduct regularly scheduled CAREGiver reviews
  • Completing data entry and processing background checks
  • Think outside of the box for new ideas on recruitment and retention
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • This is an entry-level position, though senior care industry experience is helpful
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; one year of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be compliant with New York State Motor Vehicle laws
  • Must follow the Policy that pertains to Driver's License requirements as a condition of employment
  • Knowledge or experience of the senior care industry preferred
  • Must be computer proficient (I.E. Microsoft Products, internet browsing, smartphone usage, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of information
