MedSrv, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Refund Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle Management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records.
About the Role:
- Review accounts with credit balances and issue refunds as necessary to maintain positive relationships with payers and prevent future billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with insurance carriers to offset overpayments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize medical billing software to identify and resolve credit balance issues.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, vendors, clients, and other employees to provide clear and concise information.
- Meet productivity and quality standards, including an average of 5 claims per hour and 40 accounts worked per day.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year experience in medical billing or a related field.
- Good keyboarding skills and knowledge of office software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Language Skills:

Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with MedSrv departments, vendors, other businesses, and our clients.
Physical Demands:
Lift between 30-50lbs at times. Limited.
