Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and meeting client expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Read project plans, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements.
  • Cost Estimating: Develop project budgets and present estimates to clients.
  • Project Coordination: Order materials, schedule deliveries, and coordinate with contractors.
  • Project Management: Organize project paperwork, motivate the project team, and analyze and manage project risks.
  • Quality Control: Ensure project quality and client satisfaction.
  • Communication: Meet with code officials, complete job site inspections, and maintain a clean job site.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in the construction field and as a project manager.
  • Regular attendance of 8-10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday.
  • Knowledge and understanding of commercial construction and terminology.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction budgets and finances.
  • Knowledge and understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction risks and how to mitigate them.
  • Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and estimating software.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from project plans and specifications.
  • Self-motivated and desire for continued learning and personal growth.
  • Highly detailed with excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems.
  • Positive attitude towards project challenges.
  • Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Physical, mental, and emotional fitness.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
  • Ability to work as a team and be a team leader.
  • OSHA 30-hour card preferred.
