    • Adjust and refine estimates as needed based on project specifications and client feedback.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
    • Generate regular updates on project status, budget, and profitability for management review.
    • Ensure all project-related documents are systematically organized and readily accessible for future reference.
  • Bidding Expertise:
    • Possess over 5 years of experience navigating federal, state, and municipal bid platforms within the public sector procurement process.
    • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of bidding procedures at all governmental levels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
    • Exhibit the ability to manage bonds and insurance related to bids, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared for successful procurement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Experienced in overseeing roofing projects within the public sector, working closely with architects, subcontractors, general contractors, project managers, and foremen to ensure project success.
    • Skilled in coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initial bid submission to project completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives and specifications.
  • Administrative Management:
    • Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills, essential for managing intricate bidding processes and ensuring accuracy in documentation and communication.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and negotiation with diverse stakeholders involved in roofing projects within the public sector.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial roofing sales, project management, and estimating. (Experience is required)
  • In-depth understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
  • Certification in OSHA 10 or 30.

Compensation:

  • Base salary starting from $52,000 annually.
  • Commission: 2% of total net sales, providing an opportunity for additional earnings based on sales performance.
