Key Responsibilities

  • Use computer systems or applications to access, create, edit, print, send, retrieve, or manipulate data, files, or other information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, contracting, or accounting, or 4 years' experience in similar and related fields.
  • Experience in contract administration within the defense industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Understanding of principles of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and supplements such as DFARS, DAFFARS, GSAM/R, DLAD, and others.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Products.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Experience in Defense Industry including all major types of contracts - Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, and Time & Material/Labor Hour Contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.
  • Must be a U.S. person.
  • Experience reading and interpreting legal and contractual requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience executing contracts as a buyer or contracting officer with a warrant in the USG.
  • ACQ 101 Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, Defense Acquisition University (DAU), CON 100 Shaping Smart Business Arrangements, DAU, or other similar DAU courses.
