Job Overview:

Linde Gases US is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team in Camas, WA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our cryogenic air separation plant, UHP Oxygen column, and PSA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain cryogenic production systems, gas purification systems, and gas analytical systems.
  • Perform plant shutdowns and start-ups using approved procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and rebuilding industrial instruments.
  • Propose and execute projects to improve equipment availability and reliability.
  • Read and maintain P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot electrical infrastructure and equipment.
  • Coordinate scheduling of planned or requested maintenance and procurement of materials.
  • Complete and disposition maintenance and QC records and production reports.
  • Perform LOTO, complete HWPs, and safely permit maintenance work.
  • Maintain security and orderliness.
  • Participate or lead required meetings and activities.
  • Follow lone worker requirements.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to execute, document, and continuously improve preventative and corrective maintenance strategy.
  • Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition monitoring data.
  • Maintain spares inventory and raise needs to management or procure as required.
  • Follow all work instructions and annotate with feedback as necessary.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customer, management, and sales on operational issues.
  • Complete all required training activities according to schedule and meet annual performance goals.
  • Respond tactfully, timely, and effectively to customer feedback and requests.
  • Commit to achieving individual and team goals and encourage colleagues to do the same.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or certificate in a technical discipline or recent military training in a technical field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends, holidays, and call-ins as required.
