Pediatric Sonographer PRN Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Sonographer PRN to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms. Your expertise will be utilized to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms.
- Utilize technical skills and instrumentation to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
- Maintain equipment function and safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- College or technical training program preferred.
- Apply a detailed knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
- Two to three years of experience in Pediatric Echocardiography, preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.
