Ultrasound Tech PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech PRN to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives and initiates orders for ultrasound sonography exams/procedures with a high degree of quality and timeliness.
  • Performs ultrasound exams and procedures using a variety of modalities, including 2D and 3D imaging.
  • Interprets ultrasound images and reports findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an American Medical Association-approved school of ultrasound or equivalent internship.
  • Current licensure with the RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer).
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS (Basic Life Support) provider certification.
