Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Sonographer PRN to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasounds, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms. You will work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac ultrasounds, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, and Color Doppler studies, as well as stress echocardiograms.
  • Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Apply detailed knowledge of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
  • Maintain equipment function and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • College or technical training program preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.
