About the Position

KS Engineers, P.C. is a mid-size engineering and construction management firm ranking in the ENR Top 500 for design and ENR Top 100 for construction management.

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer Assistant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading, training, and motivating staff, providing technical and management support, and overseeing project execution.

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong background in road and bridge construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in managing complex projects with a budget exceeding $10M, preferably with experience on NJDOT projects.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills, as well as the ability to mentor staff in functional areas of technical construction inspection activities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the owner's direct on-site representative to the contractor
  • Directly supervise a project's construction engineering/inspection staff
  • Perform quality assurance and oversight of the work in progress
  • Ensure that the project is constructed in general conformance with the contract plans and specifications
Requirements
  • ACI Field Technician certification
  • ACI CCTC Certification
  • NJSAT Certification
  • TCP (Rutgers CAIT) certification
  • OHSA 10-, 30- or 40-hour Safety Certification
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 to $180,000, depending on experience.
