Job Summary:

The MD, Finance First Line Risk role will lead the first line risk management program for the Treasury vertical of the Finance organization. This includes managing and supporting RCSA execution, developing and monitoring KRIs and metrics, and leading issue identification and management for Treasury-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Treasury Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA), including process definition, risk and control identification, and issue identification
  • Develop and lead testing function for key controls
  • Lead Issue Management process for Treasury-related issues and ensure remediation plans are appropriate and timely
  • Develop reporting to Treasury leadership on risk management activities
  • Support KRI/metric development that is in line with regulations and peers
  • Serve as liaison for audits and examinations, and interface with regulators
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • Years of experience in risks in controls function (operational risk management, enterprise risk management, audit/SOX, first line risk management)
  • CPA, CIA, or other similar designation (CFA) a plus
  • Substantial Treasury experience within Banking sector required including Liquidity risk management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Capital Management, and Investment Portfolio and Funding management
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building, and communication skills required
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to drive desired outcomes

The estimated hourly range for this position is $180,000 USD to $215,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
