Position Overview:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering hands-on care with a focus on daily living needs and personal hygiene. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the health status of individuals and ensuring high-quality care.
  • Providing assistance and supervision in daily living activities and personal care.
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for those in your care.
  • Initiating emergency protocols when necessary.
  • Using equipment safely and reporting any hazards to supervisors.
  • Documenting progress notes and other relevant information accurately.
  • Facilitating resident activities, including outings and appointments.
  • Assisting with household tasks and meal preparation.
  • Preparing rooms for new admissions and assisting with discharges.
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification program.
  • Current CNA certification relevant to the position.
  • Preferred experience of at least one year working with medically complex patients.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications.
  • Strong communication skills with staff, residents, and families.
  • A reliable and compassionate approach to care.
  • A commitment to delivering quality services.
