Job Title: Principal Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Platform Laboratory Systems & Design (PLSD) group, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical products, including cable assemblies, network interconnects, and circuit card assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical products, including cable assemblies, network interconnects, and circuit card assemblies.
  • Develop and coordinate internal and customer design reviews for electrical and system level designs.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of lab equipment as failures occur.
  • Coordinate between several internal and external stakeholder groups, including Software Development, System Test, Cyber Operations, and Procurement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent) with 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree with 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of related engineering experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance and special program access.
  • Active DoD SECRET or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years.
  • Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in Circuit Analysis & Digital/Analog Design.
  • Experience in Voltage/Resistance/Capacitance/Isolation Testing.
  • Experience in Instrumentation or Avionics Systems, Nuclear Surety.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with any of the following CAD Software Tools and Data Management Products: CATIA, SolidWorks Mechanical/PDM, Siemens NX/Capital, SEE Electrical Expert, Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView, SmarTeam, Team Center.
