Senior Contracts Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Contracts and Procurement Division at ENSCO, Inc. This critical position will play a key role in supporting the company's Surface Transportation Group, which manages federal contracts for the Federal Railroad Association (FRA) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Key Responsibilities- Review and evaluate requests for proposal or changes to contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS).
- Suggest alternative approaches to mitigate risk, including revisions to contractual language and proposal pricing strategies.
- Assist the Contracts Director with preparing, reviewing, and modifying contracts in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work directly with the capture management team to develop the proposal response, review with senior management, and obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers and internal company functional groups.
- Coordinate and interface with internal Contract and Program Management personnel, and Customer personnel on matters of a business and contractual nature.
- Maintain contractual documentation and file set-up information.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Broad knowledge of U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulations to include the DFAR.
- Broad knowledge of different contract, solicitation, and agreement types.
- Direct responsibility for the administration of contracts in support of U.S. Department of Defense and Federal agency programs.
- Broad knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition terms and principles.
- Direct responsibility for the preparation and submittal of proposals.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Two days per week onsite at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC DOT Road, Pueblo CO 81001).
