Senior Financial Manager – Green Hill Builders Inc.
Full-Time Position
This role is responsible for overseeing all monetary operations of Green Hill Builders Inc., a prominent construction firm, along with its affiliated family enterprises. The individual will be instrumental in shaping financial strategies, preparing reports, managing budgets, and implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance the growth and profitability of our organization.
Our operational framework is clear yet intricate, as we manage several entities with distinct bookkeeping and operational processes across the region.
This position encompasses comprehensive financial responsibilities for the entire organization, requiring a hands-on approach. The selected candidate will engage in monthly reconciliations, collaborate closely with our accounting team, manage journal entries, and continuously seek improvements in our financial systems and processes while providing regular updates to the ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of all financial records.
- Prepare annual budgets, including monthly audits and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with our CPA firm to:
- Oversee quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Ensure compliance with Sales Tax and Use Tax regulations.
- Establish internal controls for expenditures, reporting, and all financial transactions.
- Manage insurance renewals and local business licenses and fees.
- Facilitate monthly meetings with Owners to review financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a controller or senior accountant.
- Background in accounting for small to medium-sized enterprises.
- Degree in finance, business, or accounting, with a strong grasp of financial principles.
Compensation:
Annual salary range of $85,000 to $92,000.
Work Environment:
- Office-based setting.
Schedule:
- 6-8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
