Job Responsibilities
As a Trucking Insurance Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing underwriting documents to approve or reject applications. You will identify and minimize the impact of changes in exposure to risk, oversee progress of compliance with recommended loss mitigation actions, evaluate and determine account premium levels, interpret contracts and policies to determine exposures, and advise the Claims department regarding coverage issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Commercial Auto Insurance is required. You should possess knowledge of the impact of large deductibles on coverage & pricing and similar complex coverage features.
