Job Summary

This role is responsible for preparing Pick & Prep product and providing exceptional customer service to create a sensory and engaging experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with guests through product preparation, active sampling, and suggestive selling to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  2. Provide personalized service to guests, including storytelling about products, highlighting benefits, and demonstrating knife showmanship skills.
  3. Operate the Pick & Prep area according to strict merchandising and operational standards, ensuring high-quality products and a clean environment.
  4. Maintain sanitation and safety standards throughout the department, adhering to Lowes Foods guidelines.
  5. Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and guest service as needed to achieve standards.
  6. Make PA announcements and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Ability to work well with others, lift 25 lbs consistently, and 50 lbs occasionally.
  3. Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations, including knife skills and technical requirements.
  4. Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills, with the ability to work well with computers and scales.
  5. Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
