Job Overview:
As a Telecommunications Solutions Engineer with General Dynamics Information Technology, you will be instrumental in transforming technology into opportunities. Your role will be vital in enhancing the systems that are crucial for operational efficiency within government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, administer, and maintain telecommunications systems and networks.
  • Collaborate within a team framework to ensure project success.
  • Provide on-site support as part of the GDIT team for government personnel.
  • Leverage your expertise to achieve and surpass expectations across all tasks.

Qualifications for Success:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • CCNA with CCNP Collaboration certification is preferred.
  • Current CompTIA Security + ce certification.

Desired Expertise:
  • Strong grasp of VoIP protocols and technologies.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, routing, and VPNs.
  • Experience with a wide array of CISCO products, including CISCO IOS, CUCM, Unity Connection, Expressway, Meeting Server, CISCO phones, and CISCO video endpoints.
  • Proficiency in deploying and maintaining SIP trunks with CISCO CUBE, Voice PRI, CUCM, Voice gateways, CISCO Expressway, Meeting Server, and Unity.
  • Experience in setting up servers using VMware ESXi or Linux KVM.
  • Familiarity with Linux administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with CISCO routers (CISCO ISR) and switches.
  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies is a plus.

Current SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret

The anticipated salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500, which may vary based on experience and geographic location.
