Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at CSL Behring. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for performing procurement and logistics functions, including material procurement, production planning, inventory control, and vendor selection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform supply chain and logistics functions, including material procurement, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Qualify suppliers, evaluate bids, and recommend alternate suppliers to enhance quality and/or cost savings.
  • Support procurement contract activities for materials/services to ensure price, quality, and service goals are met.
  • Provide support for cost reduction programs, year-end reconciliation, purchase price variance, and purchase order execution.
  • May serve as liaison to vendors/suppliers and organize meetings to ensure continuity of quality, best price, and service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-4 years' experience in procurement/purchasing; 2 years' related experience preferred.
