Supply Chain Management

This role encompasses various supply chain and logistics responsibilities, including but not limited to, sourcing materials, planning production schedules, managing inventory, vendor selection, and overseeing distribution processes. The position aims to create cohesive workflows among internal departments such as operations, purchasing, and logistics, as well as with external suppliers. A key focus is on enhancing the efficiency of material movement through diverse production stages, establishing essential performance metrics and benchmarks related to supply chain forecasting to regularly assess actual performance against set objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under supervision, organizes and oversees purchasing activities for materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
• Assists in procurement contract processes to ensure compliance with pricing, quality, and service standards.
• Evaluates supplier qualifications, assesses bids, and suggests alternative suppliers to the negotiation team to improve quality and achieve cost savings.
• Supports initiatives for cost reduction, year-end financial reconciliation, and effective purchase order management.
• Acts as a liaison with vendors/suppliers, coordinating meetings to maintain quality, competitive pricing, and service continuity.
• Maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) and updates purchasing data for standard cost adjustments.
• Monitors adherence to the Global Sourcing and Procurement Policy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing; 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
