Job Title: Network Systems Administrator

Job Summary:

CorSource is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, including network administration, virtualization, and Windows systems administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure FortiGate firewalls and network switches.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal network functionality and security.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration settings, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, with a focus on network, virtualization, and Windows systems.
  • Strong knowledge of FortiGate firewalls, VMware ESX, and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
  • Basic knowledge of AS/400 system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, VCP, MCSA/MCSE, or similar are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and experience working within a structured IT environment.
  • Experience with cloud services and hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
