Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Family Practice Associates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining patient histories.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment, including sterilization and maintenance of supplies.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
  • Support physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Answer telephone calls and screen for referrals.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Current Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
