Product Development:
Act as a pivotal figure in shaping new products as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team.

Evaluate trade-offs, drive consensus on all critical elements, and finalize specifications for new initiatives to guarantee competitive and timely market introductions.


Architecture & Design:
Design, architect, and integrate low-power digital circuits for mixed-signal power management products utilizing advanced process technologies. Create detailed specifications for execution by medium-to-large teams.

RTL Design Leadership:
Oversee digital RTL design, ensuring adherence to timing, area, power, and relevant standards specifications.

Design Flow Engagement:

Engage in all stages of the digital and mixed-signal design flow, including micro-architecture, design partitioning, RTL Verilog/SystemVerilog design, timing constraint generation, synthesis, and collaboration with P&R teams.

Conduct timing analysis, LINT, CDC, RDC, and UPF.

Verification Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with analog and digital verification engineers to devise complex test scenarios for pre-silicon verification.

AMS, DMS & Behavioral Modeling:
Assist the analog team in creating AMS, SystemVerilog, or Verilog-Real behavioral models.

Integration & Simulation:
Integrate designs at the top level and perform block- and top-level simulations.

DFT & Layout Contributions:

Contribute to DFT strategy and execution, review test case development, and work alongside P&R teams to produce layouts that fulfill timing, area, and power criteria.


Debugging & Documentation:
Aid in debugging top-level test benches and executing RTL and gate-level simulations. Generate comprehensive chip-level and block design documentation.

Design Review Leadership:
Lead and actively engage in significant design reviews, ensuring the completion of various checklists.

Problem-Solving:
Document device errata, develop workaround solutions, and implement engineering changes as necessary.

Innovation & Strategic Contribution:
Maintain and inspire high standards for cost/performance, robustness, and quality. Contribute to product strategy, definition, roadmap, and planning in partnership with key stakeholders.

Cultural Leadership:
Exemplify and promote Renesas' culture and values.
